Hi Friends,
The previous smartPhone from Apple, before the release of iPhone 4 was: iPhone 3G. It was lagged in some issues.
(a) It won't allow free software into it.
(b) It supports Digital Restrictions Management(DRM) technology.
( c) It has no option to play patent & DRM-free formats like Ogg Vorbis, Theora.
iPhone 3G has become popular for its 3G Technology, supported by UMTS standard.
UMTS --> Universal Mobile Tele-communications System, is the World's most pre-dominant 3G mobile telephony standard.
